STATEMENT ABOUT MY INSTALLATION WORK METHODS
In connection with my arts practice I am working on forging a strong relationship with materials which have a direct link to my everyday work life. By using simple forms and found materials, considering their tactility and recuperative nature in which to determine their potential and create art from them. My work has become an interractive exploration of 3 dimensional space and my concerns regarding form, process, colour harmony and composition. The materials enable me to address these concerns as a whole by presenting the notion of painting through predominantly installation based methods. By working in this manner I feel I will better reference the struggle required to physically link the connection between my everyday life and my time in the studio.
